During this course, you will learn the basic skills and knowledge necessary to independently plan and make a dive with a dive buddy. It involves 4 open-water dives that are done over the course of several days. Before certification is issued, the student must show that they have mastered the necessary skills.

During this course, you will learn how to plan and safely make a deep dive to a maximum depth of 130 feet. During this course, students will be introduced to different types and configurations of dive equipment. Some of the topics that will be discussed are gas management, deco limited, and nitrogen narcosis. It takes a minimum of 3 days to complete the course.

During this course, the student will learn basic first aid treatment for diving- and non-diving-related accidents. The course is broken down into 3 parts. Part 1 focuses on primary care for life-threatening problems, including how to deal with them and provide first aid.
